This Computer Crime & Digital Forensics Training is hosted by the Regional Computer Forensics Group (RCFG Inc). The RCFG is a non-profit Virginia Corporation supporting Law Enforcement and the DFIR community’s training needs.
The purpose of GMU 2014 is to provide training to all levels of the cyber-enforcement community from security specialists to Law Enforcement personnel. All instructors, presenters and RCFG training staff are volunteers.
Training attendance is open to everyone in the Digital Forensics, Incident Response and Information Security Community. Law enforcement, government employees and contractors employed by Law Enforcement (and supporting) agencies should also attend. Photo Identification is required at check-in.
Lectures and Labs
The Training will consist of lectures and labs at all levels of experience. Labs are held on a first come first-serve basis, with preference given to early registrants. Attendees may select four lab sessions (except for those taking a Boot Camp see below). Payment in full must be received to secure any lab re-quests. There are dozens of informative lectures being offered covering current technological areas that face forensic investigators today.
Password Cracking, Graphics & Email, Internet, Cyber Terror, Network Penetration, Basic Seizure, Cryptography & Steganography, Information Discovery, Examination of Cell Phones, PDA, Registry, Metadata, and Tips & Tricks.

Boot Camps— 2014 !!
We are pleased to announce new Boot Camp courses being offered this year for beginners, Those new to computer forensics and/or those who are learning to process a new operating system. The Boot Camps are week-long classes and-must be signed up for in totality—attendees who sign up for a Boot Camp will NOT be allowed to sign up for any other labs. Three Boot Camps are planning on being offered: Wintel, Macintosh , VMWare and Linux/Unix.
Some sessions are confidential. These classes are restricted to Government employees and Law Enforcement only.

Refund Policy: $50.00 fee for cancellations received prior to July 1st, 2014. ~ NO refunds after July 31, 2014 @ 5:00 PM.
All attendees will receive free parking, refreshments, lunch, one Barbeque Dinner, and an official GMU 2014 golf shirt.
