Due to unforeseen issues beyond our control, we have regrettably cancelled the 2008 Annual George Mason University International Symposium that was to be held August 11-15, 2008. However, we have every intention of continuing this successful symposium for next year and we are using this extra time to possibly change venues, streamline and modernize our operations, and establish new partnerships with sponsors and instructors who are at the forefront of the computer forensics field.

We want to sincerely thank you for your current and past support of this conference and realize without your participation, this annual conference would not have been the success it has been.

The Regional Computer Forensic Group (RCFG) symposium is sponsored by RCFG, Inc. The RCFG is a non-profit Virginia corporation supporting the Law Enforcement and computer forensic community training needs. Membership is free and is comprised of local, federal, state employees and contractors sponsored by the government in support of law enforcement and combating cyber crime. The RCFG members often meet concurrently with the HTCIA Mid-Atlantic Chapter meetings. RCFG meets every other month on the second Wednesday of the month in and around the  Washington DC Metropolitan area. Meetings are from 8:00 am to noon and include a two to three hour presentation, general meeting information, and upcoming events.
